She was the second child in less than 24 hours rescue crews in the Valley tended to.
A Mesa toddler died after she was found facedown in a swimming pool Thursday.
Authorities said the 2-year-old girl was pulled from a pool near Southern Avenue and Sossaman Road. Though CPR was performed by an emergency team, the child never regained consciousness and died at a hospital.
An investigation continued Friday.
No other details were available, including whether or not either pool had a fence.
Police said both incidents were a sad reminder to watch your kids around water.
