The search continues for a pair of murderers.

“They committed a very violent crime where other people could’ve been hurt,” Phoenix Police Sgt. Jamie Rothschild said. “Now, we need the public’s help to find them.”

On Thursday, April 6, 2017, at about 9 p.m., Victor Galindo, who also goes by the name Adam, was walking through the parking lot of an apartment complex near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road. Two men in a light-colored Chevy Malibu pulled up.

“And at some point after the men got out of the vehicle, an argument began,” Rothschild said.

During the yelling match, one of the men went back to the car, got a gun and opened fire on Galindo. He did not survive.

Galindo was 28 and grew up in the Valley. He was his mother’s only son and the father of two children.

“We want to get this case closed for the family as well as getting these guys off the street,” Rothschild said.

What makes these killers even more dangerous is that they shot Galindo while there were several people out — including families with children.

While Rothschild said they’re very thankful no one else was hit, there were a lot of potential witnesses that could really help out investigators while remaining anonymous.
