Main Street Minute: Tavern-style eatery to open in Scottsdale in fall

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

Famous 48 restaurant is scheduled to open in the fall in Scottsdale. The tavern-themed venue near Scottsdale and Indian School roads will include horseshoe booths, wood high tops and a full-service indoor/outdoor bar.

• Two career fairs are set Thursday in the East Valley: Jobs in banking, management services and transportation are available at an event at the Mesa Convention Center from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The soon-to-open Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites in Tempe is hiring at an event in Chandler. Interviews are taking place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
