PHOENIX — A little over a week after releasing his latest album, rapper/mogul Jay-Z announced Monday a North American tour that will stop in Phoenix in the fall.

Jay-Z’s 4:44 tour will play downtown’s Talking Stick Resort Arena on Nov. 3. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday.

Subscribers to Jay-Z’s streaming music service, Tidal, and Citi cardholders will have access to a presale scheduled to begin 9 a.m. Arizona time Monday.

The rap icon kicks off the road show Oct. 27 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The tour ends Dec. 21 at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Other West Coast visits on the 31-date tour include Oakland on Dec. 16, Sacramento on Dec. 17 and San Diego on Dec. 19.

Jay-Z last headlined a tour in 2013, when he hit the road for the Magna Carter World Tour. The next year, he shared top billing for the On the Run tour with his wife Beyonce.

His “4:44” debuted on Tidal on June 30. Physical copies of the album included three bonus tracks.

June was a good month for the 47-year-old performer. He and Beyonce welcomed twins — Rumi and Sir — and he also was inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

We want to hear from you.
