PHOENIX — Arizona-raised violinist Lindsey Stirling claimed her second Billboard Music Awards honor for the best dance/electronic album.

Stirling’s latest album, “Brave Enough” came out ahead of “Cloud Nine” by “Kygo,” “Skin” by “Flume,” and two albums by “The Chainsmokers.” She was also nominated for best dance/electronic artist, an award that was given to “The Chainsmokers.”

“Brave Enough” debuted atop the Billboard dance/electronic album chart and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

After learning of her victory on Sunday, Stirling released a humorous “thank you” video.

Stirling’s first Billboard win came in 2015 for her second album, “Shatter Me.”

She first came into the spotlight by appearing on the reality show “America’s Got Talent” in 2010 and has since grown her fame on YouTube, where she will be featured in the YouTube Red documentary project.

Stirling has an impressive resume of performances, including a national anthem for the 49ers, and Billboard Music Awards appearances last year with Celine Dion and in 2015 with Wiz Khalifa to honor the late actor Paul Walker.
