Sunday marks the ninth annual Autism Awareness Day. In the days leading up, KTAR News is featuring and highlighting the newest information about autism and the spectrum.

In part one, the president and CEO of the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, Daniel Openden, discussed the history of autism.
