A recent explosion at a munitions dump in Ukraine was captured on jaw-dropping video.
The BBC reported everyone within a six-mile radius — approximately 20,000 people — were evacuated in response to the blasts in Balakliya, Ukraine, a city about 70 miles from the Russian border.
That same report stated the dump stored thousands of tons of missiles and artillery used to supply military operations in the nearby Ukrainian-Russian conflict.
Fortunately, Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak said there were no reported deaths or injuries in the wake of the blast.
This drone footage also captures the dramatic scene:
Airspace in the area has also been closed.
