A little American girl’s meeting with the pope went this viral this week, after she pulled his hat off his head in a video.

According to BuzzFeed, 3-year-old Estella traveled all the way to the Vatican with her godfather, Mountain Butorac.

The pair from Georgia waited three hours for a chance to meet the pope and, when they finally did, Estella wanted a souvenir.

When Francis leaned in to give the mischievous girl a kiss on the cheek, she sneaked her hand around and lifted the pope’s hat — or, if we’re being more accurate, his skullcap — clean off his head.

Of course, stealing isn’t a very nice thing to do, so Estella immediately gave the pope his cap back. It seemed Francis enjoyed the little girl’s prank and was seen laughing in the video.

Butorac said the moment quickly went viral on Twitter.

“It’s exciting! I’m sure every godparent would love for their godchild to meet the Holy Father,” he told Buzzfeed. “Mine just did and it was not only a special holy moment, but hilarious too!”
