Main Street Minute: Fitness club for personal trainers opening in Chandler

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• A fitness studio is opening in Chandler this weekend near 56th Street and Ray Road. Trainer’s Club, which is designed to help personal trainers build their own businesses, will host its grand opening Saturday. There will be a fitness challenge and a chance at $2,500 in gift-card prizes. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Dick’s Sporting Goods will host a three-day grand opening celebration for the store near Interstate 101 and Scottsdale Road. The first 100 people in line each day will receive a gift. Doors open Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.

• Scottsdale-based Vixxo is celebrating its one-year anniversary by hiring. The facility and asset management company is planning to hire 400 employees this year. Vixxo has a network of 150,000 service providers.
