PHOENIX — March Madness is here, that time of year when interest in college basketball spikes and bracketmania overtakes even the most sensible of folks.
Arizona’s politicians are not immune to the lure of glory that comes from correctly picking the NCAA Div. I men’s winning team and even nailing the upset victories.
Several of them proudly shared their selections on social media and they stayed true to the state, picking the University of Arizona Wildcats to win it all, including Gov. Doug Ducey and state Attorney General Mark Brnovich, both Arizona State University alums.

Outside of Arizona, other lawmakers made their picks, too.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky filled out a Kentucky-loaded Final Four, featuring the University of Louisville (where he went to school), Kentucky, Arizona and Duke.
Former President Barack Obama also posted his picks, which he did every year he was in the White House.
