Drinking a certain beer can help save beaches from losing sand

As important as it is to recycle and save the world’s resources, it takes time and effort.
You have to load and carry empty cans and bottles yourself sometimes, or if you are trying to do your part by carpooling to save gas, it can be inconvenient. Thus, people don’t always do all they can to help.
But drinking beer and helping the world at the same time? Most people will get on board with that.
DB Export, a brewing company based in New Zealand, heard that two-thirds of the world’s beaches are losing sand. To fight this, they created DB Export Beer Bottle Sand machines.
The machines turn empty DB Export bottles into sand, making an easy substitute for beach sand.
According to their website, the DB Export Beer Bottle Sand “will be given to construction companies and anyone else who needs it.”
So if you want to do your part and save beaches, help yourself to a DB Export beer.
