Two suspects on loose in Flagstaff after shooting kills one, injures another

PHOENIX — Police in Flagstaff are searching for two suspects after one person was killed and another was injured at the Hal Jensen Recreational Center on Friday.

Sgt. Cory Runge with the Flagstaff Police Department said two people wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts were seen running from the recreational center at the time of the incident.

The suspects are believed to be driving a dark-colored GMC Suburban with after-market tail lights and stickers on the rear window.

Runge said one victim was pronounced dead on the scene, while another was transported to a local hospital for treatment after being shot. The second victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
