Phoenix police are asking for help in identifying the suspects in two incidents of theft in December 2016.
The first suspect has been described as a male in his early 20s who, since Dec. 17, has stolen cigarettes from a Circle K at 625 W. Bell Road on multiple occasions. Police say he removes cartons of cigarettes from behind the counter and leaves without paying.
“Its pretty safe to assume that when we see these cigarette runs, the suspects aren’t stealing them all for personal use, they are more thank likely being sold,” Sgt. Jamie Rothschild said.
Rothschild added that if you’ve been asked to buy those stolen cigarettes, please report it, even if you don’t know the suspect’s name or location.

A man described as being about 25 years old is the suspect in another theft at a store.
On Dec. 20, 2016, the suspect entered a Circle K at 3618 W. Buckeye Road and purchased a beer and a hot dog. He came back about 20 minutes later, asked a clerk about lottery tickets, then revealed a black handgun and demanded three scratch-off tickets. The clerk obliged, and the suspect left.
