PHOENIX — Another day, another concert coming to the Phoenix area.
The latest band to announce a tour stop in the Valley of the Sun was rock band Nickelback. The band’s “Feed the Machine” North American Tour will be in Phoenix on Sept. 9.

The Arizona show will be held at Ak-Chin Pavilion, located near 83rd Avenue and Interstate 10. Tickets for the concert will be available through a presale on Feb. 6 — along with VIP packages — and the general public will be able to buy them beginning Feb. 11.
Nickelback has been nominated for dozens of awards, including multiple Grammys. The band has won numerous awards and was named one of Billboard’s most successful rock bands of the decade in 2012.
Nickelback won’t be performing solo. The band will be joined by former “American Idol” standout and — himself a former Grammy nominee — Chris Daughtry.

Shaman’s Harvest, another rock band, will also be on the tour.
Nickelback was scheduled to play in the Phoenix area in 2015, but canceled the date — and the remainder of the tour — after lead singer Chad Kroger had to undergo throat surgery after doctors found a cyst on his larynx.
