Main Street Minute: New Phoenix hotel to hold job fair

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

•The new Residence Inn Courtyard Phoenix Downtown is holding a job fair on Saturday. There are several openings for the front desk agents, kitchen staff and engineering positions. Interviews will be held from 9 a.m. until noon at the Wyndham Garden Phoenix near Central Avenue and Osborn Road.

•A walk-in refrigerator and freezer company is opening a manufacturing facility in the West Valley. KPS Global’s $2.3 million expansion project will add 85 employees in Goodyear.

•The City of Avondale approved an economic development agreement with the Vitamin Shoppe. The company’s new distribution facility is located in a 187,000 square-foot building near 123rd Avenue and Van Buren Street.
