Girl Scout cookie season is nearly upon us once again.
While we’re all familiar with the typical treats — Thin Mints, Samoas, Shortbread, etc. — there are two additions this year that have us salivating. Both are s’mores-style cookies.
The new campfire-themed cookies are being offered in honor of the Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary of selling cookies.
Like we said, the Girl Scouts will offer two types of s’mores cookies.
The first will have a graham cracker that is dipped in creme icing before being covered in a chocolate coating.
The other consists of two graham cracker cookies with a filling of marshmallow and chocolate in the middle.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a few weeks to try the new s’mores cookies. They should go on sale in the Phoenix area on Jan. 23.
