Adorable Google ad connects kids to Santa through technology

Dec 23, 2016, 10:42 AM

If you have a child, there’s a good chance they were very concerned about getting their list to Santa this year — or every year.

The annual tradition tends to be seeing jolly old Saint Nick near the closest mall food court, but a new Google ad showed the big guy may be upping his technology game.

Several children are brought in to a Google office that is decked out in holiday decor, where an elf asks them if they have sent a list to Santa.

Most kids surprisingly forgot about their list, but no worries: Santa is just a phone call away. And thanks to Google Duo, all the kids get a face-to-face chat with the big guy himself.

The way the children react to Santa is charming enough, but when he begins asking questions about their personal lives, their eyes truly light up with the holiday magic we all love.
