PHOENIX — Golf and music fans alike got the news they were waiting for Friday when the Waste Management Phoenix Open finalized its 2017 Coors Light Bird’s Nest concert lineup.

The annual concert series is a huge draw for fans, as it keeps one of the wildest tournaments in golf partying well into the night at the venue within walking distance of TCP of Scottsdale.

The fun begins Wednesday, Feb. 1 with a country flair, when Jake Owen and special guest Chase Rice open the party. The country theme continues Thursday with Toby Keith and The Band Perry.

On Friday, the music shifts to more of a nightclub vibe, with Kaskade and Flo Rida. Both acts have been nominated for Grammys.

Saturday night, the Bird’s Nest will be rocking when punk band Blink-182 opens for famed DJ Steve Aoki.

Tickets for Wednesday and Thursday nights are already on sale. Those looking to get in to the Friday or Saturday shows can begin buying tickets this weekend online.

Entry for each concert starts at $50, while VIP tickets — which included access to a special area, dinner and complimentary drinks — begin at $200. The events are all for those 21 and up.

The Coors Light Bird’s Nest opens each day at 3:30 p.m. and closes at 10:30 p.m. The headliners typically take the stage at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open runs Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

We want to hear from you.
