PHOENIX — A large semi-truck fire closed westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix on Wednesday, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were closed at Ray Road. The two right lanes of the eastbound I-10 remained open.
All the lanes were reopened by 8 p.m.
Bart Graves with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said the driver was out of the vehicle. No one was injured.

It is believed the truck was transporting vegetables.
Driver fatigue likely played a part in the crash.
Drivers were urged to consider alternate routes, such as the Loop 202, Loop 101 and US 60 to get around the closure.
