Celebrities often have security handle the ugly side of stardom, such as dealing with rude fans. Not country singer Luke Bryan, though.

He shut up a heckler with a light slap and without missing a beat during a concert this week.

Bryan was performing at the Charlie Daniels’ all-star Volunteer Jam in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday when he finally had enough of a man sitting near the front.

Bryan hollered at the man, “Come on!” before stepping off the stage. The guy reached out his hand to Bryan, likely expecting a handshake. Instead, what he got was a finger-smacking on the side of his neck.

Ohhhhhh, dude.

Meanwhile, Bryan kept singing. He even stepped backward without looking to return to the stage.

Seriously. We are not going to wonder if he’s Batman, but he probably has the money to buy some of the Dark Knight’s high-tech gear.

Bryan’s publicist said in a statement that the man had been making “crude hand gestures” toward the singer. Security hustled the fan out of there.
