Movies in a Minute: ‘Doctor Strange’

The latest Marvel Comics movie comes out Friday and, I have to say, I really liked “Doctor Strange.”
It’s about a surgeon whose hands are damaged in an accident. After he is told he’ll likely never perform surgery again, he tries everything — and I mean everything — to get his skills back.
Finally, he winds up studying a combination of Eastern medicaine, sorcery and magic and Doctor Strange comes about.
Visually, this movie is amazing. I saw it in IMAX and I think it’s worth the little extra money.
When you combine the great special effects with some amazing actors — Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, among others — “Doctor Strange” is one of the best superhero movies ever.
