Woman kills 1 in Phoenix after driving into arguing men

PHOENIX — A woman witnessing an altercation between her boyfriend and another man has been arrested after hitting them with a car and killing one in a convenience store parking lot.
Police said the woman was booked on homicide and DUI-related charges after she drove over the men late Thursday night near 10th and Dunlap avenues.
During the fight, one man hit the other with an Airsoft weapon. After minutes of fighting, the woman got behind the wheel of the car. She then drove at the men.
The woman’s boyfriend was seriously injured but was expected to survive, authorities said.
The names of the three have not been released.
