The general election is still about a month away, but the deadline to register to vote is now.

Monday, Oct. 10, is the last day to register to vote in Arizona if you want to cast a ballot in the Nov. 8th election.

There are a couple ways to register.

“The best way to make sure that stuff is done the quickest and generally the safest is to register to vote online,” said Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan.

You can register to vote through ServiceArizona.com or Arizona.Vote. From there, you can enter in your driver’s license number, your name and address, and your party preference. You can also register as an independent. The website will also accept changes if you want to update or switch your voter registration.

In addition, you can add your name to the early ballot list if you would like to cast your vote by mail.

If you would like to register in person, you can do so at your county recorder’s office. Even though Monday is a holiday, most county recorder offices throughout Arizona will remain open.

We want to hear from you.
