A woman in Prescott Valley has been arrested for murder in connection with the drowning death of her three-month-old daughter.

On Sept. 17, Prescott Valley police officers responded to a call for an infant who was found unresponsive in a bathtub. The investigation determined the infant was left unattended in the mother’s bathtub filled with water for more than 25 minutes.

The infant, which was placed on life support at Phoenix Children’s Hospital on that day, passed away Friday.

The mother, 29-year-old Angela Clark, was arrested for second-degree murder based on probable cause of the infant’s death.
