Two men who met to complete a sales transaction that had begun online exchanged gunfire outside a Phoenix shopping mall Saturday night according to Phoenix police.
The suspect, armed with a taser and a gun, attempted to steal the victim’s merchandise by using a taser, resulting in the victim firing gunshots at the suspect. The suspect then used a gun to fire back shots and fled with the merchandise on what police are calling a red sport-style motorcycle.
The victim was not struck, while evidence led Phoenix police to believe the suspect may have suffered a gunshot wound.
Anyone familiar with the whereabouts of the suspect is urged to call Phoenix Police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS if they wish to remain anonymous.
