• A Valley water park is honoring heroes over Labor Day Weekend. Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix is offering free admission to active duty military and first responders Saturday through Monday. Up to six family members will receive half off admission. The park will have a fireworks show Sunday night.
• A Phoenix dental group is going to perform free services to the needy across the Valley on Monday. Risas Dental and Braces will hosts its fifth annual Labor of Love at nine sites. Patients can choose one of four services: a basic teeth cleaning, cavity filling, tooth extraction or a complete exam with X-rays.
• Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill is raising money for the Arizona Animal Welfare League through sales of its popular cornbread. The Cornbread for a Cause promotion will run the month of September. The restaurant chain recently donated nearly $18,000 to the Military Assistance Mission.
