AP PHOTOS: What they wore at the Oscars

Mar 3, 2014, 8:25 AM

(AP) – Academy Award winners create buzz. Then there’s the buzz generated by what the winners (and others) wore.

Lupita Nyong’o took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar on Sunday _ and looked very much the part in a pale blue Prada goddess gown.

Cate Blanchett’s heavily embellished, light tan Armani gown sparkled under the lights at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles when she collected her Oscar for best actress in “Blue Jasmine.”

And Jennifer Lawrence, rarely tripped up by style, wore a $2 million, 100-carat diamond necklace from Neil Lane to accent her girl-on-fire orange-red strapless dress from Dior.

Here are some images of styles from the Oscars.
