Movies in a Minute: ‘Sausage Party’

To start things, let’s get this out of the way. “Sausage Party” is a warranted rated R movie. Heck, it ought to be double-R. It is crude, it is rude, it is socially unacceptable.

With that being said, it’s probably the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

I came in with the expectations of the movie being stupid. The plot, amazingly enough, gets into some pretty solid arguments and discussions about religion, belief, faith and more. All of this is done with talking items from a supermarket.

“Sausage Party” is full of sexual situations and bad language, but it is a riot and it actually has a message.
