All-male dance squad pulled from Mobile parade

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) – An all-male dance squad that wore skimpy Santa costumes during a Christmas parade in Alabama has been asked not to show up for a New Year’s Eve procession.

AL.com (

Performers wore snug white shorts under hip-high Santa jackets as they performed a gyrating dance routine some considered inappropriate for the setting.

The group’s 26-year-old captain, Kentrell Collins, says members are crushed over being booted from the parade.

Their agent, Suzanne Massingill, says the event’s organizers wouldn’t reconsider, despite an offer to wear jogging suits.
