Report: 15 officers injured in overnight search for Boston suspects

Fifteen police officers were reportedly taken to the hospital after being injured during an overnight search for the Boston Marathon suspects.

Specific details on the injuries were not available.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed overnight. The older Tsarnaev had been dubbed Suspect No. 1 by the FBI. In surveillance footage he is wearing a black baseball cap.

Police are still searching for Tsarnaev’s brother, 19-year-old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev.

It is believed the suspects killed a Massachusetts Institute of Technology officer and wounded an MBTA transit officer.

Three people were killed and 176 more were injured in the bombing.
