A Silver Alert was issued for a 70-year-old man who had been missing for over a day.
Conan Lear Nelson was reported missing by his family. He hadn’t been seen since 2 p.m. Sunday when he was spotted at a convenience store in Stanfield, Arizona, Phoenix police said.
A witness reported that while at the Circle K near the crossroads of State Route 84 and North Stanfield Road, Nelson seemed confused and disoriented.
Nelson was wearing a green T-shirt, brown cargo pants and hiking boots.
He was driving a 2010 Jeep Wrangler with Arizona license plate AVW2295.
Police said Nelson had recently been diagnosed with dementia.
