Main Street Minute: Handmade cosmetics company opens in Valley, PetSmart expands

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.
• More than 30 companies are scheduled to take part in a big hiring event near Sky Harbor on Monday. It runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Hilton Phoenix Airport near 48th Street and University Drive.
• PetSmart continues to expand. The Phoenix-based pet retailer plans on opening 80 stores in the U.S. and Canada this year. The new stores average more than 12,000 square feet.
• A U.K.-based cosmetics store just opened its third Valley location. Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics is now open for business at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale. Lush also has stores in Chandler and Scottsdale.
