The US Bank Tower in Los Angeles got a renovation recently that included what they call a SkySlide, made of clear glass, 1,000 feet above the city.
A reporter with the Associated Press took a video of the terrifying but surely exciting experience of sliding down 45 feet with 1.25 inches of glass separating you from the streets below.
The slide begins at the 70th floor, which also serves as California’s tallest observation deck, according to the LA Times, and ends at 69th floor below which has outdoor observation decks surrounded by glass walls.
The slide and SkySpace observation deck officially open to the public Saturday. Getting to the observation deck on the 70th floor costs $25 dollars for adults, $22 for seniors and $19 for children 3-12 and free for children under 2.
A ride on the glass slide is an additional $8.
