Main Street Minute: Seniors facility hiring caregivers, restaurant project starts

• A multiple-restaurant project is underway at Arizona State University’s SkySong. The 12,000-square-foot development near Scottsdale and McDowell roads is expected to include three to four restaurants. The $5 million project is slated for completion by the end of the year.
• Belmont Village Senior Living in Scottsdale is holding a job fair Thursday to find potential caregivers. It runs from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Thunderbird Road. Belmont Village is looking for full and part-time positions to work all shifts.
• A new high-end apartment complex has opened in the West Valley. Velaire at Aspera, near 75th Avenue and the Loop 101, has a theater, dog agility park and dog salon as well as a 2,000-square-foot fitness facility.
