PHOENIX — In the wake of the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub last weekend, a Phoenix-area pizzeria will raise money for the victims and their families.
On Wednesday, Spinelli’s Pizzeria in Tempe will donate 20 percent of their gross profits to the GoFundMe established for the victims of the shooting at Pulse nightclub.
After hearing about the fatal attack, Spinelli’s owners felt compelled to help.
“With such diversity in the city of Phoenix, Spinelli’s Pizzeria deems themselves to be a safe place that accepts all people from all walks of life,” the owners said in a press release.
At least one person with ties to the Phoenix area was killed in the shooting.
Spinelli’s Tempe location is near Mill Avenue and Fifth Street.
