Main Street Minute: Health insurer moving to Valley

• A New York City-based health insurer is about to make its mark on the Valley. Oscar, which does not even service Arizona, plans to move into 95,000 square feet of space near Price Road and Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe. The Phoenix Business Journal also reports the company will hire 200 employees for its concierge center and hopes to open next month.

• There is a big job fair Wednesday for those interested in sales and management. It runs from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Biltmore near 24th Street and Camelback Road. More than a dozen companies will be on hand hiring for pharmaceutical, insurance and technical sales as well as financial planning, mortgage brokers, HR and more.

• Bridge Investment Group just shelled out more than $75 million for a Phoenix apartment complex. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the Salt Lake City company bought the 856-unit Saratoga Ridge apartments near 14th Street and Bell Road.
