Get Outdoors Unleashed: Puppy hunting training coming along nicely

May 19, 2016, 10:18 AM

This week, we decided to stop by and see Coach Tony Marguez and check on Jango’s progress.

Jango is about two and a half weeks into his full-time hunting training and I was excited to see the results.

Tony brought along master hunter Barkley to perform as the lead dog. We wanted Jango to work on his backing and honoring of a point. In a nutshell: Can he respect his elders?

The morning started with a wind down period. Let me tell you, Jango NEEDED IT! He was wound up! It took him about 20 minutes of running in the heat to bring it down a few notches.

Then it was time to get to work and back Barkley. We get to see how respectful this puppy has become.

So, how did my boy, Jango Fett, do?

Check out the video. Enjoy.
