Colorado State student jumps roof, hits concrete

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – A Colorado State University student was critically injured when he tried to jump into a pool from the roof of a Fort Collins apartment complex and hit the concrete.
Ian Smith was reported in critical condition Saturday with broken ankles, broken heels and multiple broken vertebrae in his lower back.
KUSA-TV reports (
http://on9news.tv/J8aGUv) witnesses pulled Smith from the pool and he was rushed to a hospital.
