DENVER (AP) – A United Express plane has been evacuated after an emergency landing at Denver International Airport because of smoke on the aircraft.
ExpressJet spokeswoman Allison Curtin says the flight was a scheduled arrival from Peoria, Ill., and that passengers were evacuated onto runway after it landed Tuesday morning.
KMGH-TV (

The runway where the plane landed was closed for inspection but the airport said that wasn’t causing any delays.
