CLEVELAND (AP) – A teenager wounded in last week’s Ohio school shooting in which three students were killed has been transferred to a rehabilitation unit.
The Cleveland Clinic’s Hillcrest Hospital said Monday that 17-year-old Nick Walczak was transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for intensive rehab. He was wounded in the neck, arm and back.
A second seriously wounded victim was released from the hospital last week. A third teen was nicked in the ear by a bullet.
A 17-year-old has been charged in juvenile court with aggravated murder in the attack last Monday at Chardon High School east of Cleveland.
