Texas firefighters extinguish crude oil tank fire

GALVESTON, Texas (AP) – Firefighters have extinguished a fire sparked when a crude oil tank exploded at a biodiesel plant in Galveston, Texas.
Galveston Battalion Chief Thomas Winn says investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire, reported around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the waterfront plant in the island city.
Winn says the fire was put out around 3:30 a.m. Friday.
City spokeswoman Alicia Cahill says one worker was treated for smoke inhalation.
