Main Street Minute: Phoenix-based online gift-card trader sold for $22M

• Online trader Giftcard Zen of Phoenix has been sold to Austin, Texas-based web shopper Retail Me Not for $22 million. The Phoenix Business Journal reports Giftcard Zen will continue to operate in Phoenix as its own entity and keep all 25 employees. The site buys unwanted gift cards and sells them at a discount.
• Go AZ Motorcycles in Scottsdale is hosting a job fair Monday. The event runs from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. near Hayden Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard. The company is hiring for sales, service, parts, e-c ommerce and apparel.
• The Valley continues to see an uptick in tech jobs. According to Bloomberg News, job postings in Phoenix are up 6 percent over the past year while dropping by the same amount in the San Francisco Bay Area.
