Correction: Freed Killer-Suicide story

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – In a story Jan. 18 about the suicide of paroled killer Loren Herzog, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Sacramento bounty hunter Leonard Padilla hoped to collect on rewards offered by family members searching for their missing relatives. Instead, Padilla said he is hoping to collect on some $200,000 in rewards offered by the state of California.
