PHOENIX — Ever wanted to run away and join the circus? Well, you can try before you buy and get a flying trapeze lesson without even leaving your resort.
New York-based I.Fly Trapeze has set up shop at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, offering 90-minute classes to those with high-flying dreams.
The towering set-up, located near the Phoenician’s tennis courts in the recreation area called the Park, offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for $70. Group rates and private parties are available as well.
The class is available to anyone over the age of 4. A children’s summer circus day will also be offered before the crew packs up in late April.
To see the aerial acrobatics in action, individuals can attend a complimentary performance “with all the pageantry of a Big Top Performance” by I.Fly’s professional trapeze artists on Friday.
