2 people in custody in SW Missouri woman’s death

WEST PLAINS, Mo. (AP) – Howell County authorities say two people have been charged in last week’s death of a woman from Caulfield.
Forty-three-year-old Elisabeth Gunter and 46-year-old Dennis Woodward, both of Norwood, were charged Tuesday in the death of 63-year-old Joy Dishneau at her home.
They are charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree robbery and tampering with a motor vehicle.
Sheriff Mike Shannon says they are suspected of robbing and killing Dishneau on Jan. 2 at her home. She ran a business out of her home called Naturally Enchanted.
KYTV-TV reports (
http://bit.ly/vZEvt2) that the bond was set at $2.5 million for each suspect.
Online court records indicate that the suspects do not yet have attorneys.
