PHOENIX — With Monday being National Emoji Day, we decided to have some fun at the expense of some of our hosts here at KTAR News.

We put them on the spot and not only asked them to tell us their favorite emoji, but to talk about why they like it.

And then we made them imitate it for your viewing pleasure (and our blackmail at the holiday party).

While we weren’t shocked by the emojis our hosts chose, we have to say their impressions were all pretty good. Well, save for Gaydos. His was a little — how should we put this nicely? — poopy.

Happy National Emoji Day, everyone!
