Sharper Point: Things Donald Trump should have focused on in his first 100 days

On Saturday, President Donald Trump will officially mark his first 100 days in the White House.

The 100-day mark is typically regarded as the honeymoon period for a president, a time when they get a lot done before preparations begin for the mid-term elections.

Of course, the mark is also an arbitrary number, especially when you consider the Washington, D.C. red tape and the fact that it’s Trump’s first time ever holding a public office.

The president’s first three months and change at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue have been a tumultuous time, filled with executive orders, media criticism and some progress.

Rather than give a full dissection of a complicated time in American history — YouTube has time limits, people — I thought we’d have a little bit of fun and talk about what the president could have done to help out Arizona, the country and the world.

First off, he should have signed another executive order barring all Valley news stations from screaming about the monsoon and dust storms in a couple months’ time.

Sticking to the Valley, isn’t there something Trump can do about the Phoenix Suns? I mean, when we’ll a rebuilding year result in an actual rebuilding?

Also, he should force Melissa McCarthy to stop playing White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on “Saturday Night Live.” He shouldn’t pressure NBC to fire her — I need to be 100 percent clear there — but he should replace Spicer with McCarthy!

Would it also be too much for Trump to let us hear more from his wife, Melania? I get it, she’s pretty, but I really want to hear more about what she has to say about some issues.

Finally, if we’re going to be having all sorts of issues with North Korea, can we at least force Kim Jong Un to sign up for Weight Watchers? He should be spending his nation’s money on that, not missiles.
