PHOENIX – Authorities in northern Arizona are searching for a woman who allegedly shot at a man and robbed him after they met through a social media site.

The victim said he was sleeping on a couch in a rented condo in Munds Park, south of Flagstaff, on Friday when a gunshot woke him up, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Monday.

The man accused the woman, identified as Lilly Beeler, whom he’d met on Instagram, of shooting at him twice with a silver and pink semiautomatic gun, according to the release.

The man said he hid upstairs until Beeler left — allegedly taking money, laptops, shoes and jewelry — after ordering a ride from Lyft.

She was dropped off on Woodlands Village Boulevard in Flagstaff, authorities said.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, Arizona Department of Public Safety and Flagstaff Police Department searched the area but couldn’t find her.

Authorities said Beeler, who is believed to be from the Las Vegas area, should be considered armed and dangerous.

She was last seen wearing a black plaid shirt, blue jeans and red shoes and carrying a black Nike gym bag.

Anybody with information about her whereabouts was asked to call Silent Witness in Flagstaff at 928-774-6111 or the sheriff’s office at 928-774-4523.

We want to hear from you.
