PHOENIX — Whataburger, the Texas burger chain, is set to open its first franchise location in Tolleson on Monday.

The restaurant will be located at Lower Buckeye Road and 99th Avenue and feature a two-lane drive thru and self-operated order kiosks.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. and the restaurant will officially open for business at 11 a.m.

To celebrate Monday’s grand opening, the Tolleson location is offering the first customer in both drive-thru lanes, plus the first in the dining room, free Whataburger for a whole year. Smaller gifts will be given to the next 100 total guests.

This will be the 42nd Whataburger in Arizona.

Yordyn Dominguez is the newest location’s operating partner. She will honor Whataburger’s 24-hour service commitment alongside 70 employees.

We want to hear from you.
