Teenage boy dead, 2 others injured in shooting outside Phoenix store

PHOENIX – Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting outside a Phoenix convenience store that left one teenage boy dead and two others injured.
Officers responded to the area of 19th and Glendale avenues around 8 p.m. and encountered two gunshot victims inside the store and one outside.
All three were taken to a hospital, where a 16-year-old victim was pronounced dead. The other two victims, ages 17 and 18, were in stable condition, the Phoenix Police Department said Wednesday morning.
Police said all three were standing outside the store when they were shot by an unknown assailant.
Two of the victims ran inside after the shooting.
